Using the Hayya Portal, you can apply for a GCC Resident Visa as follows:
Step 1: Go to the Hayya Portal
You can find the website at: hayya.qa. After clicking on given link you directly landed on homepage.
Step 2: Sign up and login
Using your email ID, create an account by clicking “Sign Up” if you are using the Hayya portal for the first time. The verification code you received in your email must be entered.
Your email and password will be required to log into your account once it has been created.
Step 3: Click on “Apply For Hayya”
In the middle of the page, you will again find a button that says “Apply For Hayya”.
Step 4: Select Category of Visit
In the drop-down menu, select “GCC Resident Visa (A2)“.
Step 5: Select the Purpose of the Visit
Among the activities you can choose from are leisure, sports, business meetings, weddings, shopping, medical care, heritage tourism, friend visits, convention participation, and event participation. The purpose can also be specified by selecting “Others”.
Step 6: Upload Your Photo
- If you have read the instructions about uploading your personal photo and passport, select “I have reviewed them”.
- On the “Browse Personal Photo” page, click on the photo you want to upload.

Your details should have already been added by your host in Qatar if you are selecting “Family and Friends hosting”. Otherwise, an error will appear.
The Hayya portal allows you to upload details about your hotel or rental apartment on “Upload Other Platform Booking”. Choosing “Other Accommodation” and entering the accommodation’s name are the appropriate options here.
Step 12: Enter Contact Information
You will need to enter your phone number and emergency contact information in the final step.
Finally, click on “Review & Submit”.
Step 13: Pay the Visa Fee
